We stayed at the beautiful Maui Embassy and got royally spoiled! Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. Just perfect. ***** Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the Embassy Vacation Resort Maui

My wife and and our twelve year old son recently stayed at the Embassy Vacation Resort in Kaanapali and had a really nice time. This was our third stay at this property. We stay here because we want a property that offers a very nice pool area and also offered suite accommodations for our son. We had a renovated room and enjoyed the view from our room. We always enjoy going to the Kaanapali Beach or the Kapalua Beach and therefore, we do not use the beach in front of the property. The beach in front of the Embassy Vacation Resort is ok but there are much better beaches within a 5 minute drive.

Still Talking About Our Experience At the Embassy

My best friend's family and my family went to Maui together on my timeshare at the Embassy Vacation Resort Maui. We had to rooms with a view. We enjoyed the Embassy Resort. The premises is gorgeous and friendly. Our husband's enjoyed the Happy Hour immensely! There was so much to do. The only thing that I didn't like is we had to visit another hotel for the beach because of the currents, and no water activities. However, we have the best memories of our Hawaii experience at the Embassy whenever we get together, which is about twice a month we all talk about our stay and fun time at the pool, breakfast and especially Happy Hour. If I didn't own a timeshare, I definetly would have purchase that one. It was awesome! Can't wait to go again. I would recommend the Embassy Vacation Resort.

Friendly Resort

My Husband and I stayed at the Embassy Resort in Maui March 1/05 to March 15/05. We went with another couple. The resort is in my opinion a 3 star and believe me I've stayed in 3 star resorts before. We decided to pay each week for breakfast - economical, fast and easy. The rooms are nice, huge bathrooms exactly what you see on the internet, big rooms. The beach is long and I mean long - 1 hour walk one way! Kaanapali Beach is a beautiful beach to pack a cooler and go with lots of upscale shopping. Road to Hana - We did it ourselves so we could stop anytime we wanted to. Snorkling at Moliki crater was wonderful scenery like on National Geographic. If you are Canadian the prices were not expensive for shopping, eating or excursions - comparable to any other Island. We ate mostly on Front St. near Kaanapali beach - Kimos has the best prime rib I've ever had, The Grill on Front St. has the best steak with all the fixings, Heacocks at 500 Front St. has a nice place on the beach - You can see a Luau while dining - great little place. Bubba Gumps was like a roadhouse place that served O.K. food. Front street is the happening place to go. All in all it was a good holiday.

Hawaii is Awesome but the Embassy is Not

I live in Chicago but grew up on Oahu. I was disappointed in the Embassy its pushes condo timeshare sales, the free drinks are disgusting, the breakfast is worse than Old Country Buffet, my room smelled like mold, the beach was pretty bad too. I have also stayed at the Sheraton which is Awesome and the Wailea Resort which also is Incredible. If you never been to Hawaii the Embassy will be fine however, if you've gone to Hawaii before try the other resorts for about the same price. YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID. For couples either would be great, but for families the Sheraton is a little more accomodating with a nice kiddie pool.
